IBM Ansible Architect in St Louis, Missouri
Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The Ansible Architect will be grounded in technology and have the able to converge business and technology in dialog with customer executives. He/She will be responsible for:
Leading Ansible-led automation efforts as well as Ansible supported engagements with a comprehensive understanding of the platform capabilities and assets
Managing and develop relationships at the client level
Leading and coordinating automation solution strategy, portfolio management, and innovation with internal account teams and external client stakeholders
Developing a repository for CAI automation efforts comprised of open source, IBM propietary, and custom devoloped playbooks for multi-sector engagements
Conducting preliminary automation use case identification and associated ROI modeling to identify innovation opportunities for our Unit
Participating in sales campaign development, event management and co-marketing opportunities within the global automation marketplace
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
2-5 years of experience with Ansible platform, architecture, playbooks and associated technologies
Technologically savvy and familiar with one or more of: IT and process automation, RPA, artificial intelligence, machine learning (2-5 years of experience)
Solid understanding of innovation, automation and alliances and how they can create value for our business, and our clients
Exceptional communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing a large matrix environment
Technical understanding & ability to speak to the complete IT landscape regarding Systems, Applications, Database, Networking, Physical & Cloud Architecture
Commanding understanding of Python, BASH, Powershell, and RESTful API capabilities and syntax.
Ability to ingest, adapt to, and integrate new technologies and protocols on demand
Comfortable navigating complex enterprise policies and organizations, and differing agendas
Resourceful, creative and able to find innovative ways to achieve results
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Past experience orchestrating and positioning a portfolio of solutions in Automation, BPO, AMS, IT intenally and with clients
Experience with Ansible Tower administration and architecture. Experience with other Automation platforms - Ayehu, Dynatrace, Splunk Enterprise, etc
