Business Architect-Field Testing
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Business Architect-Field Testing, are to:
Develop a business architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios, motivations and breeding strategy;
Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise;
Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance;
Define the set of strategic, core and support processes that transcend functional and organizational boundaries;
Identify and describe external entities such as partner organizations and IT systems that interact with the business and describe which people, resources and controls are involved in the processes;
Define the data shared across the enterprise and the relationships between those data;
Capture the relationships among roles, capabilities and business units, the decomposition of those business units into subunits, and the internal or external management of those units;
Detail the desired business capabilities of the breeding organization and use those definitions as a guide to detailing IT strategy that leads to appropriate capital investment;
Serve as key facilitator of the Breeding Digital Governance Workstreams.

WHO YOU ARE
Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of relevant work experience OR Master’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant work experience with a major or specialized course in Ag, Sciences, or related field;
At least five years of experience in developing or supporting digital products and workflows;
Experience working on complex global scale is preferred:
Proven experience with balancing multiple priorities, dealing with ambiguity, analyzing /solving complex problems, and developing these qualities in team members;
Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills;
Understanding of the Breeding pipeline, operations and the digital landscape.
