Lead DevOps Engineer - Direct Hire
Candidates must be able to work onsite in St Louis and not require now, or in the future sponsorship.
Lead the design and implementation of technical infrastructure, platform, and tools to support modern best practices and facilitate the efficiency of our development teams through automation, continuous integration/deployment and ease of access and performance.
Establish and promote DevOps, thinking, guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Coach and mentor more junior DevOps Engineers in DevOps
Contribute to architectural discussions, agile software development process improvement, and DevOps best practices practices
Ability to implement 'infrastructure as code' and 'security as code' to enable continuous delivery.
He will have had experience using Jenkins, Git, Docker, AWS, and Linux
Experience configuring and automating monitoring tools (e.g. SumoLogic)
Experience in software development and experience working with tools and languages such as MySQL, SaaS, Git, Python, Shell scripting, Java, and MongoDB.
Hands-on experience with software-defined networks and cloud infrastructure components such as AWS VPCs, subnets, and security groups.
Understanding of IAM, RBAC, ACLs, and KMS.
A candidate for this position must have had at least 5 years of working experience as a Software Engineer, preferably as a DevOps Engineer.
Experience developing threat models.
Experience with security incidents analysis, correlation, and log management using solutions such as Splunk and SumoLogic.
Experience with stateless architecture, e.g. AWS Lambda, API Gateway
Bachelors or Masters of Computer Science or related
