Responsible for providing all support services and deliverables required to support the Records Management Program by performing initial receiving and preparation for document digitization, validating records cataloging and storage post digitization, digitization management throughout document scanning and image management. Plans, directs, and supports implementation of enterprise-wide effort to digitize all agency analog (paper, maps, aerial film, microfiche, hardcopy film) records as mandated by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)-Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum M-19-21, Transition to Electronic Records.

Independently plans, directs, and prioritizes multiple projects and tasks to meet the goals of the records management program, and other deadlines as they arise.
Supervises personnel and leads the digitization production unit daily operations by coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the digitization process: coordinates production assignments, job lay out, inventory control, and operations to meet contractual obligations, including all SOW and SDS performance thresholds.
Works closely with the customer records management leads to determine the most effective and efficient solutions for digitization i.e. NARA standards.
Oversees the handling and storage of materials being digitized – often unique, fragile primary source materials in accordance with standards and ensures digitized products meet set standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Enforce internal and external quality requirements to ensure products/services meet agency expectations. Tracks digitization process and provides weekly reports.
Apply experienced knowledge and understanding of digitization/scanning procedures to execute the digitization of analog records. Apply knowledge and understanding of quality control processes, standards, and procedures to implement multi-layered quality control methods.
Troubleshoots and problem-solves to achieve highest quality and efficiency. Ability to interpret, and apply specific policy and guidelines associated with Digitization/scanning operations for scanning and storing a variety of information.
Apply knowledge and understanding of the use, and operation of complex, high speed scanning equipment.
Recognize, identify, and/or distinguish the differences between specific artifacts, and to process them appropriately.
Shall follow federal guidelines for digitization, the PWS and all priorities set by the agency records management program manager (Customer).
In-process production quality assurance, quality control finished products, and transfer to record box(es), while maintaining clean safe work areas throughout the workday.
Plan, coordinate, train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate performance of employees. Assist in implementing rehabilitation plans of assigned employees. Write employee counseling reports as needed. Coordinate with Rehabilitation Counselor to solve behavior/attendance issues.
Participate in the employee evaluation process and other meetings pertaining to employee goals and objectives. Provide input as needed.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s )
BS/BA in Business Administration or related Information Technology (it) field with at least 6 years’ experience with document imaging software technology.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.

IBML equipment specific software – SOFTTRAC SCAN and DOCNETICS SUITE
MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Cisco Jabber, etc.
Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to carry out work with the highest levels of accuracy.
Ability to work with materials that may contain allergens, dust, mildew, or inactive mold when provided with proper safety equipment (masks, gloves, etc.).
Ability to operate digitization equipment and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
