Bayer Global Business Operations Tools Administrator in St. Louis, Missouri

Position Overview:

The Global Business Operations (GBO) Tools Administrator at The Climate Corporation will be the subject matter expert and system administrator for a variety of in-house and third party software tools used by our support and operations teams.

These tools should improve the efficiency of the Operations and Support teams. In this role, the ideal candidate will have the responsibility to analyze, document and organize requirements and solutions and work closely with the Engineering organization to optimize existing tools, onboard tools in the pipeline and identify other future tools as needed.

The role will be part of the Global Business Operations team (GBO), a team that includes Operations Support, Technical Product Support, Customer Success, Global Enablement, and Data Insights, and will report to the Global Enablement lead. The GBO team operates in a fast-paced environment, and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running managing multiple responsibilities and projects while producing high-quality work and enabling solutions to extend across global geographies and varying customer segments (farmers, dealers and partners).

Success in this role includes a focus on bridging the gap between the Engineering team and the Global Business Operations team leads, while working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and to ensure tools integrations and operations are smooth and defined.

What You Will Do :

  • Develop subject matter expertise with our telephony system (Talkdesk). Establish a relationship with Talkdesk resources and quickly develop a “system administrator” skill-set. Understand call flows, IVR configurations, reporting, billing, provisioning user accounts, etc

  • Become a Salesforce Administrator and gain subject matter expertise on our current SFDC system setup. Review/approve new user license requests, take responsibility for chatter-free user creation, own the customer master data structure including account hierarchies, and administer basic system configuration changes as permitted by Engineering.

  • Help manage the implementation of our promotion engine (Talon.One) and co-browsing tool (Glance) and become the subject matter expert on system capabilities, configurations and usage of both tools.

  • Gain understanding of our global asset administration tool and drive best practices for tool access, usage and administration. Will also be responsible for establishing and executing global asset monitoring control processes on a daily basis. Work with the Climate Security team to understand risk concerns and partner with Engineering on version 2 of the asset tool while representing the voice of the business.

  • Lead collaborative efforts with key stakeholders across GBO, Marketing, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, help define use-cases, propose solutions and support implementation of other customer focused systems.

  • Lead the evaluation of different tools and execute technical feasibility assessments. Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed.

  • Gather business requirements, provide clear documentation and gain alignment across key stakeholders.

  • Identify trends and issues by observing and studying system functionality and performance.

  • Participate in the full implementation lifecycle from requirements gathering to system implementation, configuration, testing and change management to ensure that solutions meet the global business requirements.

  • Act as the global support tools expert, prepare remote system training to teams around the world and ensure that all countries follow a consistent tooling approach.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree.

  • Salesforce Administrator or willing to obtain within 3 months in the role.

  • Five or more years of work experience within IT, Technology Operations and/or Customer Service business systems, and leading projects.

  • Ability to influence, collaborate and communicate successfully in a matrix environment.

  • Contact-center experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some travel required, including international: 10%.

  • Experience leading people indirectly to achieve business outcomes.

  • Direct experience with omni channel customer support (phone, email, text, chat, social media).

  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry.

  • Formal project management experience.
