Monsanto Identity & Access Management Engineer in ST. LOUIS, Missouri
We are currently seeking a talented Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer . This role will be located in St. Louis, MO, reporting to the IDM Lead.
The Enterprise Identity Services Team provides support and integration services for Monsanto's Identity Management and Web Access Management Platforms. The position will focus on the area of Authentication and Authorization, and accountable for project implementations, operational support, consulting and providing security solutions to protect organizational applications, infrastructure, and intellectual property across the global IT environment.
Development, execution and support of solutions utilizing the Federation Services infrastructure, including PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne, PingID, Radiant Logic, Sailpoint, and NET IQ
Partnering with other IT and Business Teams to ensure understanding of and alignment with their business efforts
Partnering with stakeholders to champion Security Policies and Standards for Monsanto globally
Collaboration with other IT and global functions
Drive projects and authentication efforts, and ensure implementation and transition to operational support
Documentation on the services and implementations developed in the domain
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of previous experience developing and administering an enterprise Identity and Access Management/Governance platforms
2+ years of previous experience with Unix
Expert level knowledge of security architectural designs, requirements development, and solutions definition
Detailed understanding of current identity standards/protocols: SAML, WS-Federation, WS-Trust, OAuth and OpenID Connect
Hands-on experience working with Active Directory, eDirectory, VDS or any other LDAP Systems
Experience administering Web Application Servers: Apache, Web Logic, etc.
Knowledge of the following:
SAML 1.1 and 2.0
Web service interfaces (SOAP/REST)
Ability to define the approach for and drive implementation of secure designs and recommendations through project consulting, or project ownership
Strong Background in Information Security and associated methodologies
Applied experience with information security policy and standard development and enforcement
Experience driving a project from the inception of a strategy, definition of requirements, product selection, implementation, and into operational support
Demonstrated ability for root cause analysis, problem solving, and resolution
Strong interpersonal, team, negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
Background and knowledge in Application Security
Ability to make Application Security recommendations
