What does a great Implementation Analyst - ETL Specialist do?
As an Implementations Analyst - ETL Specialist, you will provide conversion support to banks and credit unions by building data requirements for extracting and transforming donor source data into a DNA Oracle standard schema. You will interpret binary data and meticulously match the data to the donor file descriptions at the bit level. ETL Implementations Specialists will work with the converting organization, the donor’s IT staff, and the DNA programming and project teams to drive data related problems to resolution. This a client facing role where professional communication, consultative support, and time management is required on every project.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
Minimum: 3 years of related experience
Proficient in PL/SQL, SQL, SQL Plus, and/or SQL Loader, this includes the development of database objects, including editing stored procedures, as well as writing functions, packages and triggers
Ability to validate programming results against requirements and donor data
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, as well as lead discussions on technical topics
Experience working with Oracle databases and/or relational databases in an implementations' environment, specifically performing data transformation
Knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c.
Experience with text editor tooling, such as Beyond Compare, UltraEdit, Notepad ++, etc.
Strong knowledge of Hex Editor Tools
Working experience with source control systems, primarily TFS and Git
Proficient in C# and solid understanding of COBOL
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
5+ years of experience in ETL, manipulating data with various editors and using various programming languages, including C#, COBOL, SQL, and PL/SQL
3+ years of experience in system conversions for Oracle based software
3+ years of experience in an implementation environment working in a fast paced, deadline oriented, consulting climate
5+ years in business analysis and programming
Must be self-directed and willing to work under strict deadlines with precision and accuracy
Knowledge of programming standards, software development tools, optimization techniques, and technical specification experience
Experience coaching both associates and clients through technical issues and long-term projects
Ability to multi-task and change direction in a fast-paced delivery focused environment
Up to 50%
