Industrial Hygiene Mgr
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Industrial Hygiene Manager, are to:
Manage ergonomic program for multiple sites including evaluations, chairing the Ergonomics Committee, training, SharePoint development and maintenance and trend analysis for OES database;
Facilitate project safety (HSE reviews, review of construction documents, planning, construction and renovation projects and work in progress audits) for small and medium scale;
Oversee safety liaison and primary contact for multiple office locations;
Oversee safety program management including the development, implementation and evaluation of compliance programs (e.g.; personal protective equipment, silica, centrifuge, job safety analysis, bee program);
Participate in incident response activities as a member of the site emergency response team;
Perform HSE site orientation for laboratory researchers;
Conduct incident investigations including indoor air quality and mold issues;
Write, edit, update and approve departmental industrial hygiene related documented practices and/or manuals.

Bachelor of Science in Industrial Hygiene or related field of chemistry, engineering, science or other technical discipline;
Technical background with at least five years of experience with Safety and Health and /or Industrial Hygiene programs;
Operates effectively in a team environment both within HSE and broadly across multifunctional groups;
Position requires excellent computer skills and working with databases;
Through knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry exposure standards;
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with all levels of the organization with emphasis on the HSE community and management;
Experience in dealing with large multifunctional locations with emphasis on Research and Development/office environments, as well as VPP sites;
Effective organization, coordination and project management skills Technical skills, knowledge and demonstrated ability to apply them in complex research environments;
Collaboration skills and development of enabling relationships to achieve desired outcomes;
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing large technical programs.
Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene;
Certified Industrial Hygienist or Certified Safety Professional designation.
