CTG is recruiting for experienced anIT Business Analyst - ServiceNow to join our team supporting ourServiceNow Practice. This is a full-time, long-term positions as part of an IT PMOour ServiceNow team that will work with a dedicated CTG team in support of a variety of clients. The job duties will cover classic Business Analyst responsibilities for ServiceNow projects including full custom and out of the box implementations.
Summary
- Gathers and translates user requirements and business area information into business models from which systems may be built, purchased or enhanced. Works closely with client managers and project managers.
Responsibilities
Deliver business value to the client
Maximize long-term project value to CTG
Recognize opportunities to reuse deliverables from previous efforts such as business/project goals, problems/opportunities, critical success factors, existing technology, information needs, processes, procedures, and business rules
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Duties
Identify goals and objectives of client initiative
Collect, collate, analyze, interpret and disseminate information among business and technical interests
Conduct interviews, facilitate sessions, and review documentation to gather information
Extract key business findings
Format findings into succinct presentations
Document the course of events, interactions, and data inputs and outputs
Summarize customer interview information into flow diagrams where appropriate
Consolidate the working papers from multiple principal consultants into a unified document
Revise customer presentation materials given tight deadlines
Model/document technical requirements (i.e., what the system must do and what processes are needed to support it)
Create tests to confirm the delivered systems and processes meet the documented needs; ensure testing is completed prior to delivery
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
ServiceNow Business Analysis experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competent client-facing skills
Ability to use templates and any methodology, including related business modeling deliverables and techniques
Ability to use existing models for the business area
Working knowledge of project management
Ability to use tools such as Visio, Jira, Optimal Trace, BI Tools, etc...
