KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Cloud Development to join our Digital Business Transformation organization. This opportunity is open to internal candidates from all KPMG US locations and external candidates interested in being based in one of the cities listed within this posting.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive solution discovery and design of application deployments into public and private clouds

  • Proactively work with the team to identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, formulate solutions and execute on the plan while estimating scope and time lines; Partner with other teams to drive solutions over the line

  • Create templates and code to automate solution delivery and deployment into public and private clouds for a wide range of technologies across Windows and Linux platforms while automating and developing manual tests to ensure code quality as solution is promoted between environments

  • Manage competing priorities in a fast moving enterprise and thrive in a complex environment, must be able to adapt to constant changing environment

  • Provide third tier support for operations and support teams

  • Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in the area of agile system development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in practical application of scripting and automation techniques including Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Task Automation

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; AWS or Azure certifications on Solutions Architect, DevOps or implementation tracks is preferred

  • Strong understanding and experience in development and troubleshooting various technologies including Cloud and Systems automation, enterprise network communications/protocols, Windows and Linux authentication and authorization, Virtualization technologies (AWS, Azure, VMWare), enterprise networking, encryption standards, technologies and related elements

  • Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans and provide written and verbal documentation and knowledge sharing

  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, XP and Kanban

  • US Citizenship required
