Honeywell Production Supervisor - Fabrication Machine Shop (First Shift) in St. Louis, Missouri

Supervise a team of individual contributors who are manufacturing Honeywell's world class innovative products. You will leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented production employees. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in one of Honeywell Intelligrated production facilities. Through collaboration with cross functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead plant fabrication line machine shop on first shift

  • Directly supervise production operators on lathes, mills, saws, lasers, break presses, etc

  • Drive productivity & lean manufacturing improvements

  • Enforce compliance

  • Drive culture of continuous improvement

  • Resource management in dynamic environment

  • Review quality output and coach team improvements

  • Collaborate with customers and cross functional teams

  • This is a first shift position (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and supervisors may need to come on ealry, stay later or week occasional weekend

MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of supervisory related experience

  • Ability to work overtime as needed and occasional weekend work

  • Familiar with lean manufacturing principles

WE VALUE

  • 2 year associates degree

  • Some relevant manufacturing or industrial experience

  • Efficient with SAP software

  • Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment

  • Conveys information with clarity and directness

  • Some relevant leadership experience

  • Computer literacy

  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done

  • Any prior union experience is a plus.
