Job Type/Schedule This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week. Department Name/Job Location This position is in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Oncology. This position is for the Medical School Campus. Essential Functions There is a research opportunity in the lab of Dr. Nathan Singh (https://sites.wustl.edu/nathansinghlab) in the Division of Oncology for an enthusiastic candidate with experience in immunology, biochemistry or cancer biology. Our lab is focused on understanding how to improve T cell-based immunotherapies for cancer. Specifically, we investigate the ways in which synthetic and chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) regulate T cell function against cancer cells. We use a variety of classical immunologic techniques, such as flow cytometry and animal modeling, as well novel genomic and protein engineering strategies in both cell lines and clinical samples. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree. * Applicants with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrate an ability to work exceptionally well in a team setting. * Ability to communicate effectively. * Meticulous attention to detail. Salary Range Base pay commensurate with experience.
