World Wide Technology Senior DevOps Engineer in St. Louis, Missouri

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required

  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Qualifications:

  • Secret Security Clearance

  • 6+ years working with IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, etc.

  • 4+ years on IT Automation such as Puppet / Chef / Ansible / Terraform

  • In-depth knowledge of Python, Powershell, and/or PowerCLI

  • in-depth knowledge of Jenkins

  • Experience working within a DevOps environment

  • Technical background in DevOps, Software Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering

  • Experience with the full software delivery lifecycle and working in complex enterprise environments

  • Proficiency in building and managing Linux and/or Windows Systems

  • Experience working with containers, IaaS, PaaS, and public cloud environments

  • Experience with CI/CD principles, practices, and tools

  • Experience with Infrastructure automation (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to comprehend and implement new technologies

  • Ability to context-switch between multiple projects, codebases, and concepts with ease

  • Ability and desire to bridge silos and bring different teams together while working towards a common goal

  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

  • Experience working in an Agile environment
