GalaxE Software Engineer (Trainee) in St. Louis, Missouri

GalaxE has openings in each of its U.S. locations: Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Milwaukee, WI; Nashville, TN; St. Louis, MO; and Somerset, NJ. The interview and new hire processes will be conducted remotely due to the COVID-19 crisis.
O2A™ Trainees will join the GalaxE team as full-time employees and undergo rigorous technical and soft-skills training, as well as mentorship led by GalaxE’s subject matter experts.
Once training is complete, team members will be assigned to a Gx Engagement Team where they will receive on-going support while advancing their careers by engaging in real-world projects for today’s industry leaders.
Requirements:
Technology background: Degree in Computer Science (or related), completed technical boot camp program or experience in an internship role
Strong aptitude for math.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Java, C++, SQL, C#, and HTML experience.
Aptitude for learning new technology.
Understanding of Core Java or Microsoft stack and OOPs programming concepts
Passion for technology and desire to work in the IT field
Passion to learn new things, solve problems, and express ideas
Desire to work as part of a team
Desire for professional and personal growth through training, coaching, and feedback
Self-starter motivation
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
