This Software Engineer position will support the Wealth and Investment Management Technology (WIMT)Team. The primary responsibilities are accountability for the delivery of automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment, ensuring that quality assurance continues to move forward with the firms Technical and Agile Transformation. In addition the role will provide testing services for all phases of testing support to WIMT Brokerage applications in an effort to implement error free code to our customers. Heavy script development and executing automation strategies are a major function of this role.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Creates, prepares and implements systems quality assurance tests and reviews for numerous applications.
Assists scrum master in sprint planning activities.
Maintain, create and execute automation test scripts in support of functional testing using UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and Selenium.
Ensures Agile team is following test Automation standards i.e Gherkin, GWT (Google Web Toolkit).
Use or coordinates use of the ALM and Agile tool such as VersionOne or JIRA to monitor test progress.
Performs moderately complex to complex test data setup, regression testing and testing validation.
Coordinate and support SIT/UAT testing and defect triage across integrated functional testing, automation and stress, performance and load teams.
Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects.
Identifying testing dependencies & risks with requirements, scope, and application availability as well as understanding dependencies between testing teams
Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff, and assist in the development of testing skills for all team members.

5+ years of quality assurance experience
3+ years of application development experience
3+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation
3+ years of scripting and automation experience
1+ years of DevOps experience
3+ years of leadership experience
5+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3+ years of Java experience
3+ years of VB (Visual Basic) experience
Experience with automation, regression, and performance testing
Knowledge and understanding of SOA (Services Oriented Architecture)
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Knowledge and understanding of brokerage: systems or applications
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience with continuous integration and deployment.
Experience working with keyword and data-driven automation frameworks.
Experience with applications of differing technologies including web, mobile, web services, ETL and messaging.
Experience working closely with Developers, Business Analyst and QA Engineers in resolution of technical issues.
Experience implementing In Sprint Automation within Agile teams.
Understanding of test automation tools/frameworks such as UFT, Selenium, Watir, Cucumber, Fit/Fitnesse.
Understanding of testing and automation concepts and practices such as Shift Left, TDD, BDD, API-Layer Testing, etc.
