Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community Job Description: Raytheon has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Subject Matter Expert I supporting an Intelligence Community customer’s wide-area (WAN), local-area (LAN) and campus-area (CAN) networks across multiple security domains. The SME serves as a definitive source of knowledge, technique, or expertise in a specific subject area, such as information technology, networking technology, process engineering, plus others. The SME functions as the organizational ambassador for their knowledge area, and applies their expertise to support the customer's vision and strategic direction. A subject matter expert understands, articulates, and implements best practices related to their area of expertise. The subject matter expert may lead or be an active participant of a work-group with the need for specialized knowledge. The subject matter expert provides guidance on how their area of capability can resolve an organizational need, and actively participates in all phases of the project life cycle. Required Skills: •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience •Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance •Understanding of DISA and IC standards and processes •Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior/executive management •Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities •Proficient is MS Office suite – Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project • Current TS/SCI Desired Skills: •PMP •ITIL v3 Foundations/Intermediate •Relevant certification to area of responsibility Required Education (including Major): •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; experience in lieu of education This position requires a U.S. Person 120455
