Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Implementation Engineer (IE) , you will partner with others with the Professional Services organization and project team to ensure an accurate and timely deployment of Watson Health Imaging (WHI) solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for technical application installation, configuration and troubleshooting
Participate in client planning meetings with Project Managers designing network configurations and hardware deployment strategies
Work with project managers to schedule and execute installation tasks
Work with client and vendor to verify DICOM Conformance
Work with client and vendor to implement DICOM Modality Worklist and Image Transfer workflows
Work with client and vendor to execute DICOM Data Migrations
Support HL7 interfacing throughout the solution
Support Custom Engineers regarding other Data Migrations as required
Assist clients with test plan design and execution
Provide focused support during Go-Live phase
Participate in Transition to Support meetings
Create, track and close cases within the CRM
Ensure accurate and updated records within the CRM
Master all WHI products within area of responsibility
Create & Submit product issues and enhancements to Product Management.
Pursues a program of self-development through the use of selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.
Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for clients and peers.
Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Three (3) years of Healthcare IT experience.
Strong background in healthcare informatics.
Strong time management and prioritization skills
A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
SME on one or more core WHI solution.
Three (3) years of Healthcare IT experience.
Five (5) years of Unix experience
Strong background in DICOM, HL-7 and healthcare informatics.
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Familiarization with Server Platforms and Storage systems (SAN, NAS)
