THE DOE RUN COMPANY Chemical Technician in Viburnum, Missouri

The Doe Run Company is seeking a Chemical Technician to prepare, analyze and report on the results of laboratory samples on a daily basis to provide accurate and timely results. This position will be at our Viburnum, MO laboratory.Responsibilities:Prepare, run and report on production samples.Gather sample data from production work areas and perform appropriate tests.Set up and maintain lab instruments according to established standards.Ensure analysis of samples meets quality standards.Other projects and duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Computer skills Intermediate skills.Microsoft Office (esp. Excel and Word) Intermediate skills.Knowledge of quality control standards skills.Knowledge of laboratory safety standards.Education and Experience:A minimum of 1 year experience as a chemist/chemical technician (including internships, projects).Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field or equivalent experience.Environmental safety and health rules and regulations training preferred.Based in St. Louis, The Doe Run Company is a privately held natural resources company and one of the largest integrated lead producers in the Western Hemisphere.
