The Wiring Operator ( Assembly Operator, Production Operator ) :
Performs various duties associated with the assembly of electronic equipment, cable assemblies, and mechanical assemblies.
Utilizes and interprets Engineering electrical schematics, plans, and prints to assemble and wire projects
Works from complex verbal / written instructions, drawings, and/or documentation to determine methods of wiring where procedures are not readily available
Uses pneumatic / standard crimpers, hand tools, and power tools, such as drills, to perform work
Meets and exceeds department metrics to include; efficiency metrics, utilization rates, etc
Skills, Experience, Education:
Must be willing to work 2ndor 3rdshift
Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to realize an acceptable final layout and wiring based on non-scale drawings and general practices
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Experience in wiring and/or electrical work with AC / DC electric circuits
Soldering experience
Previous experience as: avionics technician, wiring operator, assembly operator, production operator, machine operator, electrician apprentice, electronics technician, electronic test technician, etc
