Job Summary: Provide quality checks on outgoing finished products using laboratory testing equipment, evaluate acid concentrations and maintain and file appropriate quality production paperwork.Fundamental Duties: Testing levels of Hydroflouric acid, Nitric acid and TurcoRun round robin testingRun Hydrogen testsCut or shear orders for testingEnd-mill tensilesDeburring samplesPull tensilesRun lab annealsCheck work orders to be released and take out scrapScan files and lab packetsFiling of lab paperworkEmployee will be expected to handle waste material properly and ensure proper container, labeling, storage and shipping procedures are followed per the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Alcoa Titanium Engineering Product (ATEP) procedures.Employee may be required to respond to chemical, oil or acid spills appropriately using onsite spill response and training provided in accordance with RCRA and ATEP procedures .Other duties as assignedSkill and Competency Requirements: Must have basic knowledge of math, math equations and use of various measuring instrumentsMust work a full-time schedule and overtime as requiredMust have basic computer skillsMust have problem solving skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work with othersRequired to read and interpret production orders and safety, operating, maintenance, and procedure manualsRequired to use inspection tools and to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.Required to read, count and write in order to accurately complete all documentationSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close/distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusMulti-tasking is an inherent part of the job and will be required to be successfulAttention to importance of details are tantamount to correct execution of dutiesQuality mindset, data and product integrity must be conservedBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDMust be 18 years of age or olderEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
