The Quality Control Supervisor will oversee functions and employees in the Fabrication department in Washington, MO. This position is responsible for maintaining a customer focus with quality as a priority, assure a safe workplace, and lead by example through commitment to employee involvement.Position Duties: Setting, in concurrence with the department manager, the daily quality goals and ensures that these goals are achieved for the assigned areasDirect the quality teams in evaluating quality of products to meet the customer's quality and on-time delivery requirementsSupervise work teams and individuals in the areas of personnel actions in compliance with company policiesEstablish and oversee the performance of appropriate physical and/or chemical tests, inspection and calibration proceduresAssist in the preparation of written instructions and technical directives for test and inspection activitiesParticipate in the development and execution of quality-related procedures and documentation based on Company, Government and/or chemical tests and inspection and calibration proceduresVerify discrepancies and investigate their root causesDevelop and implement quality control methods for all manufactured products including inspection and calibration procedures and performanceReview Engineering packages to ensure appropriate inspection methodologyParticipate in investigations for customer returned materials or complaints to determine causeAssure that inspection and calibration activities are conducted in the proper manner and insure the accuracy of inspection and calibration reportsServes as a change agent able to influence quality perspectives and initiatives within direct reports and other departmentsSchedule/ approve overtime, vacations and other personnel administrative requestsOccasionally attend daily Production Review MeetingCompletes timekeeping requirements for assigned hourly employees#LI-KD1Basic Qualifications: Minimum of High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institutionMinimum 5 years manufacturing experienceMinimum 2 years quality experience in aerospace industryMinimum 1 year supervisory experienceEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
